Maori Games with Matua Mike

In Te Reo we have been learning about games. Today Matua Mike taught us a new game with string. It was like a magic trick!

We had to learn the first steps by listening to instructions and watching carefully. Then we tried it ourselves!

In Room 6 we like to help each other when we are stuck, so this is what we did! Ka pai Room 6!

We learned that if we didn't keep our fingers straight up the string would fall off and we would need to start again.
By helping each other, we all managed to copy what Matua Mike showed us. 

At the end he showed us some cool shapes and pictures that he could make with the string, we want to learn how to do one of these next time!
